In this foundational Virtual Author Workshop series, Innocent Classroom trainer Julian Condie (pictured) will introduce Alex Pate's Constructing the Innocent Classroom, a child-specific response to diverse classrooms that is teacher-driven and child-centered. Participants will learn about this groundbreaking relationship-building process that prepares educators to identify and positively engage each child's essential motivation—their good.

About the Authors

Julian Condie is associate vice president at Innocent Technologies and an Innocent Classroom trainer. In his role, Condie works with schools and school districts to prepare for Innocent Classroom workshops and ensures the quality and effectiveness of all Innocent Classroom programs. As a trainer, Condie has helped educators across the country improve relationships with their students, improving academic and social outcomes for Black, indigenous, and other children of color. He is a graduate of the University of Minnesota.
