Bart Epstein serves as president and CEO of the nonprofit EdTech Evidence Exchange as well as a research associate professor at the University of Virginia Curry School of Education & Human Development. In his work at The Exchange he is working to collect, analyze, and disseminate feedback from hundreds of thousands of educators nationwide who report on their experiences selecting and implementing education technologies. Epstein holds a bachelor's degree from the State University of New York at Binghamton and a juris doctorate from the University of Virginia. He previously served as general manager of a Department of Defense program to provide online tutoring and homework help to children in U.S. Military families, and founded the nation's first edtech accelerator focused on efficacy research.
